Paulo & Sarah A Sweet Couple

Sarah and Paulo are officially my second Wedding shoot ever! They were married July 4th 2010. They are the sweetest couple. Paulo is from Brazil and Sarah is a local girl. This union was truly filled with the Spirit of God. I was so moved by the Godly love that these two young people had for each other. The ceremony was simple yet so elegant and every part had a significant meaning from the vows they said to each other, to the testimonies shared by individuals at the reception. There was no dancing or drinking at this wedding. Everything at this Wedding was done to bring honor and Glory to God. It was so beautiful, pure and meaningful. It wasn't a Wedding for show, but a Wedding that truly celebrated the love between two of God's children in the midst of God's people. I was moved to tears when Paulo shared his testimony about his life, God and Sarah. I am so blessed and thankful to Sarah and Paulo for allowing me to capture their special day. Here are a few photos. I did not share any of the actual Ceremony...I wanted to keep that private for them.

John & Joanne's Wedding Day

A beautiful little country Church was the setting for John and Joanne's Wedding.

John and Joanne married on July 2, 2010. I was very honored to shoot their Wedding day for them. It was such a beautiful, intimate wedding with just close friends and relatives. The church was a little quiet, rustic place that if walls could speak would just burst out with many stories of all the beautiful celebrations, sermons and Weddings that were held there; and now added to it's history was the Wedding of John and Joanne McNair.

Just after the Wedding in the courtyard outside the church.
Sealed with a kiss.....
...and now we present....MR & MRS JOHN MCNAIR!

The ceremony was beautiful and filled with laughter...

They are so precious...

Joanne's dress was stunning to say the least!

I thought this was the cutest picture...looks like it
came out of a Norman Rockwell painting.

Thank you John and Joanne for allowing me, a new photographer to shoot your Wedding...you were officially my first Wedding shoot. I think I did ok! Love you both to the moon and back! may all your days be filled with as much happiness as you experienced on your Wedding day!

John & Joanne what a Love story!

I absolutely love this couple not only because I know them, but because of how youthful their love is. I had a blast on this day shooting their pre-wedding shoot. They had more energy then a room filled with 20 toddlers! I was plum worn out by the time I got home. Goes to to show you, love is fun and youthful and meaningful no matter what the age if it is TRUE love; and that it is between John & Jo.....
A sweet moment
Are they not the cutest couple ever!
Love between John and Joanne is very playful
at times....
...and at other times very relaxing.
Thank you much for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful tie in your life. I am forever blessed to have you both in my life!

My Friend Amy's Post Wedding Party

I took this photo with Amy & Brad's Wedding rings on an old
fence post with their Farm in the background.

My Creative Bloomers

Now that I know a little bit about Light Room, I am able to
take the photos I took of my Pear tree in bloom and my
Apple blossoms and really make them come to life. In my
creative way that is!

This is an Apple Blossom I shot from the Apple trees in
my back yard.

The above is one of my Daffodils that I waited
so long for it to bloom! When it did, out I went
with my camera.

More Apple blossoms

The above was shot from where I work. All the trees
were in Bloom, so I brought my camera to work with
me and shot these at lunch.

I loved the way this one lone red berry
hung on and refused to fall to the ground.

This shot was from my Pear Tree

Photography Workshop With Tara Maiki

Last Saturday, May 1st, I traveled to Bristol, NH
to meet for the first time an AMAZING Photographer
who did a one on one Workshop with me.
I learned so much!

The most valuable lesson I learned was to RELAX and go with it!
I also learned how to pose my models and what to do with the
hands.

At the end of our session, we spent time in Light Room and in
Photo shop editing the shoot we did earlier. I learned the tricks
making the eyes look brighter and sharper. The models were great!

Tara is coming up to assist me with an all Girl Teen
shoot on the 22ND. We are going to have a BLAST!!!
I am really looking forward to working with her again.
Thank you TARA!

About Me

My photo
I am learning to navigate through life without my kids.Learning that I can do anything I set my mind to and that Tomorrow is always fresh with no mistakes. I am discovering that my happiness is not based on people...I am learning that happiness is from within, and is a gift from God. I am learning that when my eyes remain fixed upon Him...I can remain happy even with my grandsons so far away. I am learning it's ok to be me.
